Cool!
One day I'll resist the urge to post everything I write so I have something "unpublished" to submit.

Right on! Still almost two weeks left. For what it does, StoryHack is the best mag out there.

Pulp writers; Short fuse (Jan 15th) but I only just learned about this weekend;
They are going to try this once per month. So if not now, maybe you can be ready in February.

An update from Doug Draa of Weirdbook:
"I hope that everyone is doing well and have come through the holidays in a healthy, happy and sane condition!
The magazine is now over three months behind schedule. I do not know when it will get back on track. So I'm guessing that at least #45 has been pushed into 2020.
Wildside has their hands full with a major project and don't have time for Weirdbook right now.
The 2018 themed Annual is now the 2019 themed Annual since it didn't come out this past October. This means that I most likely won't be doing another one this year.
The issues will be thinner this year. 60K-70K words instead of 100+K words. So I'll be doing my very best to fill more than 4 issues. That is, if I have enough material that I'm happy with.
I hope that things get back on track very soon."

Yeah. I suspect the "major project" is FROZEN HELL (the expanded "Who Goes There?") The thing so over-funded that they're going crazy with extra rewards.
Funny. I never thought over-funding would be a problem but in this case, it just might be.
Now I'm curious what is happening with STARTLING STORIES. Doug had the first issue ready--or at least, he announced the t.o.c. I was hoping he'd at least get two issues out in 2019 (if the first one did well.)
I guess my current submission will stay in slush limbo a little longer. :/

Thanks for sharing this Paul! I also have a story in this issue that might appeal to some readers here; an old-school S&S adventure. Check it out, tell us what you think, there is something for everyone in this issue.
