New author, Dominika Lein, has recently joined the ranks of the Pulp Revolution. She talks about her experience here: dominikalein.blogspot.com/2017/06/still-pulprev.htmlPulpRev author, Jon Mollison, has some thoughts on Lein's post: seagullrising.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2017-06-13T14:42:00-10:00&max-results=3 "I'm proud to be part of PulpRev. I know the community will make a wiser, stronger, greater author out of me - it already has. In the past month, I've learned a lot more about Pulps, techniques, and my list of dead author names keeps growing along with my living authors list. I've found amazing advice that is practical and tested. I've met people who fuel my passion to not only write, but write and publish hard and fast with unapologetic strength."
-- Dominika Lein, author of I, the One The PulpRev is coming.

"I’m proud to be a pulp writer. I don’t write books with themes or hidden meanings. A gun is a gun and werewolves are not a symbol of feminist liberation. Most normal writers are in the same boat. We don’t have literati pretensions of smug superiority. We write to get paid, and the more entertaining we are, the more we get paid."
-- Larry Correia
Just found out Mr. Correia's father died today, by the way.

Kai Wai Cheah is a Singaporean author. He grew up fascinated by various world mythologies and was a big fan of techno-thrillers. Here's his account of how he found his way to the Pulp Revolution: www.pulprev.com/2017/06/my-winding-road-to-pulprev.htmlFor PulpRev, the answer to the doldrums and the blandness of modern SFF is simple: regress harder. Regress to the glory days of pulp, and revel in the forgotten era of SFF. Rediscover the tales of lost cities and atomic rockets, planetary romances and adventure fiction, and breathe new life into a stale, insipid, calcified industry.
PulpRev is a rapidly-growing movement in SFF. We are writers and readers, indies and hybrids, and we have come to create a new epoch. We uphold the old masters, and we birth new works of our own. Neither politics nor borders divides us. Ours is a big tent: all who appreciate the pulp aesthetic is of our tribe. If you wish for fiction that sends the spirit soaring, fiction that is romantic and heroic and thrilling, fiction that is just plain fun, come join us, and together we shall make SFF great again.
-- Kai Wai Cheah, author of No Gods, Only Daimons

PulpRev.com is here!PulpRev authors Jesse Abraham Lucas, Kai Wai Cheah and some like-minded souls have fired up PulpRev.com and they're lookin' to start up a posse of fellow travelers. www.castaliahouse.com/guest-post-by-jesse-abraham-lucas-pulprev-com-is-here/ Anyone who’s interested in contributing is welcome to join us in the PulpRev discord. Right now we’re looking for:
READERS.
We want dedicated, thoughtful readers able to build a reputation of quickly reading and reviewing PulpRev pieces. Quick feedback is a blessing of the modern age. The sooner shorts, serials, and novels are read and reviewed, the sooner audiences can get to enjoying them and writers can get to improving themselves for he next one.
ARTISTS.
PulpRev is an author-heavy movement right now. There’s a lot of demand for enthusiastic artists who embody the pulp spirit and who clearly list the kinds of prices they’ll charge.
HOT TAKES.
It’s never too early for readership growth. If you have an article that’s eye-popping, head-turning, and share-worthy, we want it on our front page with your name on it.
There’s a lot we’re going to be able to do with this site. I can’t wait to see what we all can do with it. Any questions or suggestions are welcomed (even harsh suggestions, there really is a lot we can improve on the site).
-- Jesse Abraham Lucas

In some ways, I like #24 even better: www.boldventurepress.com/booksPA.html#24That issue is a lot like what Lin Carter did when Zebra fired up Weird Tales as a paperback line. A nice mix of old classics and quality new stuff, with an emphasis on the "weird".

In this cool post, author Todd Everhart asks the question: "Are you PulpRev?" www.pulprev.com/2017/06/are-you-pulprev.html To be PulpRev is a rebellious act! It means not relying on gatekeepers to tell you what is good. It is the quest to find FUN from any accessible fiction supplier. Perhaps you’ve heard of the Pulp Revival, which is the renewed interest in the pulp fiction of a bygone era? Perhaps you've heard of the Pulp Revolution, which is a contemporary movement to write works worthy of the pulp era. PulpRev is all of these things encompassed in one word.
