The Pierre de la fée, or "fairy stone", of Draguignan: Hey thanks very much for all your posts [ in here, and in all other various topics ]. I love those sites where 1 huge stone is perfectly balanced on 3 smaller stones. [ the ancient ones sure kept their clever 'priests' very busy - levitating all those big heavy stones? ] is that modern concrete around the base of the 3 stones?

Carahunge (or Karahunj) is a massive megalithic site in southern Armenia and is at least 7000yrs old. It is also called Zorats Karer or "the Army of Stones". Some of the stones have possible astronomical alignments. Here's a good gallery: www.carahunge.com/...and an interesting video:
