I picked this up last week and have to say, this is a pretty damn good game. Definitely still a bit buggy, but the patches have been fairly regular, so hopefully that will help.
I think the combat system is going to be revolutionary. The days of just hitting a button and hacking and slashing your way through the enemy may be over.
Even if you don't play video games, I'd suggest finding some YouTube channels and watch some of the cinematics, very well done.
These guys have a hit on there hands... I can see Kingdom Come: the Dark Age, Kingdom Come: Crusader, etc... as possible entries in the series.
