I recently found the comic-book adaptation of the Vikings movie (UK Edition, 1958) with pencils and inks by the Great John Buscema. I paid practically nothing for this issue. I found a couple of issues of Savage Sword of Conan in an Oxfam bookshop in Dundee a couple of years ago. One UK edition and one a US edition. Good condition considering their age too.

I found a couple of issues of Savage Sword of Conan in an Oxfam bookshop in Dundee a couple of years ago. One UK edition and one a US edition. Good condition considering their age too. Yeah, Oxfam can sometimes be a good place to find a bargain. Which issues of SSOC did you find? |

Wow, great find! Looks like it's in fairly good condition too. Yeah, it is in pretty good condition. The only problem is that now I'll probably be on the lookout for the other Dell books illustrated by John Buscema. |

Yeah, Oxfam can sometimes be a good place to find a bargain. Which issues of SSOC did you find? SSOC #4 (UK edition) from '78, which reprints the Devil In Iron, and SSOC #14 (US edition) from '76. SSOC was before my time so they're the only two issues I've ever owned and nice to have. Apparently there were more but someone else was luckier than me and got to them first! |
