A new cover for such a book would be welcomed just like they did for The Colossal Conan. I understand Dark Horse may be willing to save money, but a new cover would make a real diffence and make the book much more attractive, at least for me.

I've just got done reading the original trade paperback of Wolves Beyond The Border and as Tim Truman's farewell to DH's Conan it is an out and out masterpiece, and very emotional. The thing that hits hardest is that knowing this is, in effect Conan's final adventure (i mean, are we ever going to see a series that details his adventures on the continent beyond Hyboria?) plus the fact it ties together three of Howard's legacy characters is masterful. Absolutely brilliant.

Absolutely brilliant. If there's a higher power, Giorello and Truman will be able to continue this at Marvel at some point. They did such a peerless job, I can't imagine Marvel isn't begging to have them on a Conan project. Then again Marvel seems to have thrown in their lot with the Brady Bunch King Conan continuity with that bastard Conn.

Then again Marvel seems to have thrown in their lot with the Brady Bunch King Conan continuity with that bastard Conn. I guess that it was just a fools hope that Marvel would follow along with the Continuity of Dark Horse, rather than treat Conan as a total reboot; i think Truman et al did sterling work on King Conan, and the idea of Conan And Son doesn't sit well. Marvel have the finance; if they can't beat the efforts of Dark Horse at their best, then they should hire the creative teams behind them. So not Becky Cloonan!
