Brian Wood "fixing" Macross.

Looking around on Free Comic Book day, I came across our boy Brian Wood's adaptation of Robotech/Macross.
As a fan of the series from way back, I feel he's doing for Macross what he did for Conan.

Surprising new direction? Apparently.they didn’t talk to Conan readers. Expand readership? How’d that work out last time? He honestly seems to do better with original works, though his Star Wars was regarded well among fans. They keep a very tight leash, though.
