Looking at Dell'Otto's cover I guess this collection/omnibus will include the Red Nails adaptation from Savage Tales.

LOL. Until I scrolled down to the blood 'n swords, it looked like a romance novel cover. . .
It would be so cool if the covers were printed in color, on glossy paper and the main content on rag/newsprint. Probably cost-prohibitive, however. I started to get the DH SSOC, but quit at Volume 2 due to the smaller size and lack of covers. The covers are just so amazing for SSOC!

Could this be a cover to a Savage Tales Omnibus collecting all 11 issues?

Nevertheless, still a vast improvement on the Cassaday cover for the Conan the Barbarian Omnibus. If I do pick this up I'll go for the one with the original cover. I guess the quality will be pretty similar to the 2 volumes of the DEADLY HANDS OF KUNG FU OMNIBUS. |
