That IS pretty damned cool. I think it has to be admitted that Long's Chaugnar was an influence on REH's Yogah of Yag. Of course, there's nothing to say that FBL got everything right about Chaugnar--if much at all, beyond his appearance. Chaugnar might just be the last survivor of a hunter-killer unit sent to wipe out the Yaggite exiles...

Fanciful speculation Perhaps Chaugnar Faugn and the Yogah are related in evolutionary terms with Faugn being an archaic ancestor or an altogether separate branch of the root species.
