Lloyd Alexander and the Prydain Series -- Classic Fantasies

Today would be Lloyd Alexander's 95th birthday. While what he wrote is generally classified as Juvenile/Children's/YA/whatever literature, I know several fans of sword & sorcery--Fletcher Vredenburgh, Morgan Holmes, myself and others--who have a deep affection for his Prydain series. The setting is based on the Welsh legends found in the Mabinogion and the books feature some great protagonists and villains.
