I'm still bummed that Bunn didn't get to finish the storyline with the Ghoul in Conan: the Slayer. That was good pastiche.
I'd certainly be up for him working on Solomon Kane.

If he gets the chance to do more of him at Marvel he can always pull an Englehart-Mantis-in-JLA type of thing, not come right out and finish it, but... :-)

I doubt Marvel would be interested in continuing the story directly (since roughly only 7 thousand people read Slayer) but I agree, if they put Bunn on an arc I bet he could make it work. |

I'm only familiar with Bunn's run on Aquaman, which was frankly pretty awful.

Is this the same writer who did Unholy Grail recently?
I am very happy that there is whispers in the wind regarding Solomon Kane, and if Marvel do get him I hope that they can do this character Justice without team ups.
All in all though, this sounds promising, doesn't it?

I'd welcome it fully. Just make sure he gets the right artist  I can't see a Black Agnes working, but I wonder if they'll let Roy Thomas do his proposed Hyborian Age version. |

I can't see a Black Agnes working, but I wonder if they'll let Roy Thomas do his proposed Hyborian Age version. I hope they get Dark Agnes right - just look at what they've done to Belit and Valeria. I gotta feeling Solomon Kane and Agnes will work their way into modern Marvel continuity. Maybe Marvel will go for a time travelling REH based Avengers team with Conan, Kane, Agnes and probably King Kull (if Marvel manage to get the rights). |
