Call me when they put Abbott and Costello in this, too. It could only get better with a change like that.

Boy was this a fun issue. I'm glad I didn't just throw this aside due to the team up concept. I'm really impressed with Deadato's art, he hasn't lost a step from his Secret Avengers days. It was cool seeing Conan doing Conan-like things such as stealing from and outsmarting a dark wizard. Thanks to the Savage Land setting it feels like Conan isn't out of place. It will be interesting to see if that remains the case if the "team" leaves for the more modern settings in the Marvel Universe. Yeah, I enjoyed this issue. It's a great deal of fun, you have all the cool, extremely violent characters all together in one title. Even if it is a little incoherent at times.

I'll be reading this out of curiosity, free of charge, of course. Good to know Conan is not the one to get a blood transfusion.

I dunno how well Savage Avengers is doing in North America, but here in London the 2nd issue has already sold out in most of the comic shops - only Forbidden Planet still have copies.

That's awesome news, hun. In hindsight this was a great idea from a sales perspective. I hope it drums up interest in the character for the main line, which has some promising projects on the horizon.
