AC/DC. All day. R.I.P. Malcom Young... Right on. Here's an underappreciated tune, IMO. This was the first AC/DC tour I saw.

Some of the first Malcolm I ever heard. A classic. RIP.

I have been listening to some dark synth lately, mostly Kavinsky and Carpenter Brut. A bit of a break and departure for me from some of the folk metal bands that I normally listened to. I enjoyed Turbo Killer by Carpenter Brut, and the music video/short film suits the tone well.

Wierd Al Yankovic's Amish Paradise. I actually prefer this send up to the original.

I will have to listen to more of Perturbator, been meaning to do that, also need to check out the Youtube Goodness thread. Posting on the Catastrophism thread has made me think of Carpenter Brut's Roller Mobster. First time I saw it was when it was matched up against the Lone Wolf animation. I could easily imagine a future time when digital technology has collapsed and nations turn into police states to control the ensuing chaos. I am also reminded of the history of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 and Tiananmen Square Protests of 1989 whenever I look at this. Another favourite of mine

Nice! I'm quite familiar with the song 'Roller Mobster', but I hadn't seen that video before. It does remind me of the Tiananmen Square protests too, as you say.
Not sure if you've heard of Celldweller before (a favorite of mine), but someone did a really good mash-up of 'Turbo Killer' and 'New Elysium' called 'Turbo Elysium'. Check it out if you haven't already:

Check it out if you haven't already: Like the video replay taken from Turbo Killer With synth, some of the mash ups work out, 'Turbo Elysium', especially with 'New Elysium' as an overlay on 'Turbo Killer'. I have a bit of catching up to do.

I especially like 'Last of the Wilds'. Simply amazing, great addition of Troy Donockley on pipes...Uilleann pipes I think.

I can't believe it's been over a quarter of century since this first came out. I remember hearing this everywhere, iconically 90's.
Give it Away by Red Hot Chili Peppers

Then something happened and I could never listen to the song and view the music video in the same way again.
This is what happened.
