When is Conan fighting Donald Duck? Can't wait.
I have no doubt this is unforgettable chapter in Conan's life as a comic book character. But not in a positive way.
I am sure Marvel can outdo themselves and release an even worse Conan book in the near future.
Come on, Marvel, bring it on!

Ugh. This is the last nail in the coffin. I'm done with the new Conan books (except for maybe the Roy Thomas story I've heard is coming)

Hopefully, it's only a one-shot. Who am I kidding they'll probably add 3 more Conan 2099 titles in a couple of months. Anyone up for Conan and the Avenging Mutant Guardians of the Galaxy 2099?   |

I imagine they're writing these for Marvel fans rather than Conan fans. They're counting on us to purchase the reprint volumes and art books and such.

I don't know, guys, I'm hoping this could be a fun 90's throwback like Savage Avengers.
I won't be disappointed if it isn't, though. My expectations are nowhere near the Dark Horse days.
But I'm hoping Savage Sword under Roy Thomas is at least close enough to the classic Marvel character (not necessarily REH even, just really good pastiche) so then everyone has something to read.

Here's a scary thought. Will Marvel ever lose the comics license for Conan? They let it slip away before. Now they have Avengers stories featuring Conan, Conan crossing over with Marvel events. Would they allow those to fall out of print in the future? Or will they squat on the rights indefinitely?
