That's what I always liked about Conan, a believer in freedom and no bended knee. True REH. Great issue.

Conan the Barbarian #19 is not just the best issue of the comic since the Cimmerian came back to Marvel, it's the best issue in many years.
Not because it's big and splashy and climactic-- it isn't. But because it balances action, character, dialogue and violence so well.
I like to think that this issue shows us the author, Jim Zub, getting his footing and preparing for a good long run of solid work.

Just read this one, another good issue by Jim Zub. Yeah, Action, intrigue, good art, 3 completely different fights in one issue and it doesn't feel rushed. I like it.

Issue #20 proved to be as solid as #19. Again, this isn’t climactic and spectacular stuff with gigantic plot developments—it’s relatively small scale storytelling with Conan encountering men and beasts and trying to survive in an unfamiliar land. It’s solid, well-balanced pastiche work with an interesting, steadily moving story, new characters who are more than they seem, and a depiction of Conan that strikes close to home and feels right. The art, with sharp clarity and finer line detail than we have seen in some time, is good stuff, but I think Jim Zub’s writing has jumped a couple orders of magnitude since his first two story arcs. I don’t want to make predictions- this is only two issues I’m talking about here -but I like where this is going and how it’s getting there.

I know that bilingual interviews are tedious ... but ... it is the only way we have to have contact with the people involved with Conan's production here in Brazil. In addition to the interviews, we have some videos with subtitles ... and I used the automatic translation to put it in English. It `s not perfect. But ... that's what I can do. I'll leave a video here as an example:

Like others I really enjoyed the last couple of issues. The Land of the Lotus arc is shaping up really well. The last scene of #20 felt very Conan.
