I think a realistic looking Conan, obviously he's gotta look strong. I'm suggesting something just a little more natural looking. Look at my profile picture, brother. This is what natural looks like. I was bigger earlier, as natural I can go to 195 pounds (curently Im 186), and thats not important. My question is "Am I a Conan material"? I dont belive so. Not sayin' we need a pro-bodybuilder again or some mountain of muscle dude, on contre. But we need someone that looks like Dolph Lundgren from his He-Man days or Mattias Hues type of build. Muscles all over, not over-pumped but more like greek god build and raw strong look. Howard did described Conan as powerfull build man with massive muscles. And, in the end, its a fantasy mileu - it should look bigger than life and atractive in that way as much as its posible. Again BlackHeart I agree 100% with what you are saying... its like you are in my head, lol. How tall are you? I'm guessing, by your profile pic and you stating that you are 195, that you are about 5'10" cause you look really big and jacked in that pic!!! I'm 6'2" and 235lbs in my profile pic and I know I'm not Conan material. I wonder if we are all picturing something very similar but are using different words and metrics when describing what we envision in our head regarding Conan? I'm guessing we are closer rather than further apart. The The Farnese Hercules is a great example of the type of physique that Conan would have AND that existed historically, before the invention of Vitamin S (the statue was carved in 216 AD).

Bro, can you belive I've always dream to achive exacly same build as Farnese Hercules statue 🤩 Perfect in every way! As Socrates said "It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable." And Im 6ft tall, 182-3 in santimeters. Not that much impresive, I know 😁 That being said, I agree that most of us might think about same thing when it comes to casting, viewing it in diferent way. Who knows... Maybe in the end we'll get some underdog that would blow ur mind with his performace. Unknown waters hide many secrets.

Yeah, I agree about a proper size neck. I think they need to go for an athletic look with the actor and get away from the muscle bound barbarian in this series. Don't get me wrong, that does not mean he should not look strong. I agree that the actor playing Conan can't be muscle bound. Think Ray Lewis type of build. 6'1" 240lbs and ran a 4.58 40 yard dash. Hard to argue there was anyone more athletic then he was in his prime. While he is absolutely jacked he doesn't resemble a muscle-bound bodybuilder. I had to google Ray Lewis, cos I'm from London, I dunno much about American Football, but looking at some of the images and videos. Yeah, I can see that kinda build on Conan.

I could imagine Conan with this kinda body in his late thirties or early forties.

Florian Munteanu maybe a good fit as a cinematic Conan. 6'4", looks strong, agile and fast.

Socrates said it perfectly. 6'0" and 195lbs is nothing to sneeze at. Keep up the good work!!!

Wow! Just watched this video. Great build for Conan and a great face for Conan as well. And he can move. I wonder if the powers to be are looking at him.
