Hammer certainly could've done something interesting with SK in the early to mid 60s with either Cushing or Lee (and arguably made a run at that style with Captain Kronos).

Ah yes Captain Kronos... I always forget him even if I do like the movie. I've just seen that a sequel exists in comics . I'm tempted to read it.

So If Malmberg said they now have a “show runner” why not announce it and tell us who it is? Either in a interview or on Conan.com? I suspect that some here have experience working in the biz. Could anyone tell me why the name has not been dropped yet? Thanks!

He could be waiting to make the announcement for Howard Days in less than a month.
It could also be that they have additional contracts that need to be signed before names are revealed.

That would be my guess, make sense to make it there, giving enough time for all i's and t's to be set. Or even going into the weekend, build a little momentum.
Now watch, it'll be nothing...I hope not, but...

Instead of highjacking this thread with this digression about SK I think I'll start one about SK's pastiches and "clones"/similar characters. I know lots of people here don't likes pastiches much - except maybe comics - but I'm more lenient and there are days where I'd rather read a new, decent pastiche story than re-read for the 10th time an original REH story. I've not seen here any thread about Kane's - admittedly few - pastiches

Cool, once it’s set up, they can move the SK related material there.

Great find Terry. I am currently watching Love, Death and Robots on Netflix. Some excellent animation. They are very short episodes, around 15 mins. Red Nails would be a very tight fit in that duration.

That's a shame. Heard some good things about Love, Death and Robots.

I'd have thought Fredrik would have jumped at it but I suppose the Netflix series deal would have scuppered it.
