What a great artist! Creative, detailed, stylish, distinctive original line drawing and he is not shy when depicting women the way they are supposed to be in certain moments of the story. Violent scenes are rendered greatly too (see that black corsair being slashed in two) and the atmosphere he creates just shows how much potential he could fulfil, specially if he had decided to draw the entire story till the end. I can easily see myself buying it were it a Dark Horse production. Hello Aquilonia, It would be fantastic if Dark Horse released a hard-bound edition of this great adaptation. It would have been even more fantastic if they had released this instead of their own adaptation.

Hiltunen's work is truly worthy of REH.

Hiltunen has made a lot of neat comics about various books, Shakespeare included. And a lot of his own stories too. The only problem is that the artist himself said that he hasn't published anything in English. =/ So it's difficult to share around the world. If you guys find anything by him that you can read, share the fun!

Thank you also Hun, that was incredible. The image of Belit flanked by her warriors on the ship when it was attacking, was breathtaking. Could you imagine if Hiltunen's artwork was faithfully adapted to screen, that truly would be a Conan movie done right.

This post is just a little reminder if you've not read Petri Hiltunen's Queen of the Black Coast adaptation, you can read it on this thread - just sign in to view the pages full size. Petri Hiltunen's The Grey God Passes adaptation is still available in PDF format (just downloaded a couple of minutes ago, seems OK): www.mediafire.com/download/s3ci3lp0enj6lsl/The_Grey_God_Passes__tamerozcan_.pdf
