The biggest negative going for this movie is it hasn't come out yet and nobody cares. Like they say, the opposite of love isn’t hate, it’s indifference.

A WOKE remake of a Red Sonja not for the male gaze. OK We've always known that it is not gonna be the Red Sonja from the old Marvel comics. I kinda suspect they have not got a distributor yet, and are trying to sell the movie with these words which for some inexplicable reason modern movie makers believe they should be about. It could be an okay movie, nothing like what they're talking about, unfortunately it'll not be a Red Sonja one. The weird thing that in most of the movies starring Matilda Lutz, she is scantly clad, very much for the Male Gaze. Don't make sense. Or this movie could be so bad that no distributor will touch it. It is an interesting phenomenon were more than few female actors have had a career of posing in certain attire or the lack of it, but later on become some sort of unofficial mascots for the latest identity politics trending movements in the industry. After all these years so many mainstream movie studio execs, producers and directors still live in some fantasy world where they think mainstream society wants our movies to be produced by identity leftists selling a political message. Or maybe they just don't care, blame 'toxic fans', and box office success be damned and lets just keep hiring alternative lifestyle and the eco mob to direct these films and indoctrinate the next generation until people finally realise that WOKE 'normal' is normal. Something is definitely wrong. I agree about the so bad no distributor is touching the Red Sonja movie. It's like they are ashamed of it and know it's going to be another failed shitfest which will only have some life left in it as the latest turd of a movie to be dissected on the net.

Well said. Matilda did a lot of damage to the already disastrous PR campaign that Millennium Films is running, or rather not running for this movie, but she only said what an actress is expected to say in the promotion of a Hollywood movie because those are the "values" that are desired and expected in Hollywood today.
In any case, with such statements, she will drive away more audiences than she will attract a US distributor.
The funniest thing is what she said about the costume - she signed up for an audition for the movie adaptation of a comic book character whose costume is a chainmail bikini, and then she was embarrassed that she would still have to shoot some scenes in that costume (although we saw in the photo from the set that her body is almost completely covered in that costume, because only her back and part of her stomach are bare), and she also said that she is glad that the director made an effort during the filming so that her actress was not exposed too much. And that's what Matilda Lutz says, who showed her naked ass and filmed classic “male gaze” oriented scenes in the Revenge movie.
I was very surprised at how much reaction Matilda's interview has caused. Ever since the lead actress was chosen and filming began, there has not been this much publicity on social networks and on the Internet in general about this film. All the reactions on the interview are negative as expected, with a few exceptions, but I doubt feminists like this will fill the theaters when/if this movie comes out:

All I can do is just shake my head at this. This is no longer watching the slow-motion train wreck that is Hollywood. This isn't even like watching the passengers, on fire, leaping to their deaths amidst the explosions and gore. This is like watching a never-ending line of new passengers get onboard a new train that is headed to crash into the same, fiery wreckage, full-well knowing.
I piss in the face of this movie.

This is a similar photo to the one with Matilda on the horse, so nothing new-the costume is terrible and Matilda looks like an female MMA fighter and not like Red Sonja. And again a blurry photo, again a disastrous media campaign for this film - whoever is in charge of marketing in Millennium, has no idea about his job.
MJ is in Bulgaria for editing and sound mixing:
The Russian composer and pianist Sonja Belousova makes music together with the Italian musician Giona Ostinelli,
with whom she often collaborates in composing and performing music for movies and TV series.
www.youtube.com/@sonyabelousova-gionaostinelli I listened to their music from various series and movies on their Youtube channel, and there are interesting things, for example I liked the soundtrack for the One Piece series. They are best known for the soundtrack for the Witcher series, which, to be honest, left me indifferent. I have no idea how they will solve the big task to make the main score for Red Sonja, but I do know that it has to be something epic and powerful, like a main theme for Conan the Barbarian by Basil Poledouris, because Red Sonja deserves nothing less than that. Based on what I've heard from their music videos on the Youtube, I doubt these two are capable of delivering such a musical masterpiece.

I thought the Witcher TV series music was decently atmospheric. To be fair, most fans will have come to the series from the popular Witcher 3 videogame. Anyone following that game was up against one of the most epic award winning soundtracks ever produced, featuring some of the most talented and passionate performers out there. A soundtrack that could stand shoulder to shoulder with Basil Poledouris' (though of a different sort) and not come to shame:

Can they digitally replace Matilda with Sydney? That may be the only way to salvage this.
