Daniel Craig was 38 when he started playing Bond. Pierce was 42 and Roger was 45 (but looked a lot less). So why not an actress that is 36 or 40?

I can't explain why, but I dislike Alexandra Daddario.

I've had a crush for Tabrett since Legend of the Seeker so I'm biaised :-) Plus it's an excellent actress who has won several awards. Why her career has not been more successful so far is really a mystery to me.

For me it's 2,3,1 by color preference, and they all have right kind of burnished lustre.

3, 2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 1
For what I think about and look from with Red Sonja, I want it to be extreme championship sword and sorcery. What Rocky 4 was to the Rocky movies. What ECW was for wrestling. Spartacus-style with the same hybrid techno/metal soundtrack. I want swirling waves of neon red hair, ultra-violence and plenty, and I mean PLENTY of T@A bursting from the seams in almost every shot. When the movie is over I want to thank it for the mammories.
It won't be, though. It won't be fun. It will be serious and probably have a thinly-veiled plot about immigration reform or something.

Just be thankful it's not at Disney...yet Well, that is the direction that women from the production team intended to take from the beginning.

The scary thing is THAT approach would be wildly out of place at Disney now!

I did a reverse image search of those two ladies and believe it or not they helped produce Rambo: Last Blood, Texas Chainsaw 3D, The Hitman’s Bodyguard and Hellboy...
I think this is just a case of them getting their target audience wrong. This should not be marketed to little girls in the same way Wonder Woman is. I would argue the audience for Red Sonja is the same audience as a Conan movie.

"You want every little girl to be Red-sonja."
There's the death sentence right there, folks.
No way will she be wearing chainmail that exposes 92% of her sweat-glistening, heaving buxom body, like it should. Sexualization and kids is only supposed to be injected in the school environment (especially kindergarten through 3rd grade) and only content that favors gender fluidity, drag-queen dress-up day, and lectures on LGBTQ...IA(?). If Disney is going to make a woman's empowerment movie for kids it sure as hell isn't going to portray women in a heterosexually enticing way...they will do something like, I dunno, make a movie about a 4rth grade kid having her first period, but it's really a red cookie monster and then she twerks all over town to a musical number.

I could not read the article.
However, I doubt MJ Bassett's rendition of Red Sonja will be for little girls; that's if it happens.
