Cool details. NASA has a lot to do, but if they don't set it motion it'll never happen until it's militarily advantageous, imo. n a s a are still the biggest ,most evil, supa-arogant repeating massive LIARS [ and huge fund thieves /robbers ] in the entire universe ! their leadership are complete and utter evil bastards! fully supported by the totally corrupt usa govments. even the russian and other euro powers worked and lied with them to complete the massive worldwide deceptions against us all. I have to concur with Von K in that 'Buxie' did not make any direct mention about the moon landings being faked or anything, just a general dish out which didn't bother me. As for the moon landings, I think there are three main types of people. People who think it was ‘faked’ cause it’s been so long since the last moon landing and no one has ventured beyond low earth orbit in all that time, and to them it seems kinda unreal now, 'must have been faked'. Those that say It happened and we can easily replicate that feat if we really wanted to do it again. Me, I am one of those that hold that there is enough documentary evidence to support that it occurred, but it will take a shit load of work to do it all over again, and that’s something not so easily done for all sorts of reasons. I am the original killjoy. I actually like that Rammstein – Amerika music video As for the flat Earthers, never paid much attention to that, always thought it was some sort of online silliness that refused to die off and took a crazy life of its own.  Wonder if they have a club for this one, kinda disc world.  |

I don't really know what Bux is talking about, but I used to believe the moon landings were faked. There are many reasons to question the standard beliefs across numerous disciplines, and many things are taken for granted today - without argument - that were never believed in the past.
Has anyone here thought seriously about whether the earth could be flat, and the reasons we know it isn't? "Pictures from space" are easily faked, and I've known flat-earthers who insist on that. What evidence does the ordinary person really have that Earth is round, or that NASA made it to Luna?

Take a telescope on a clear night, and when the positions are right, you will note that other observable planets in our solar system are round, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus and Mars for instance. Also, the curvature of the Earth is observable, at a harbour notice how the ship in the distance appears to sink as opposed to fading off into the distance. A lunar eclipse produces a round shadow. A setting sun is still seen from an elevated position, something that would not be possible if it set on a flat Earth. As for the moon landings, I can understand why some people would think it was faked, but I think the evidence is overwhelming in that they occurred. For instance,if it was faked wouldn't it stand to reason that the Russians would have blown it out of the water. Besides, too many were involved, no way it wouldn't have leaked. |

Although an eclipse with the moon high in the sky might still show a fairly round shadow even from a plate-shaped Earth, if the moon is anywhere near the horizon a flat Earth's shadow should throw a slash across it, which of course is not what we can easily see. Regarding the moon landings, the assumption that the Russians would have said something, or no way it wouldn't have leaked doesn't refute the possibility of a conspiracy; it merely dismisses it. But, though we can't yet see the flags planted by the moon landings, scientists do claim they identify them by the shadows they cast: |

I am no scientist, but I would think that the flags would last for some time on the moons surface, although i am not sure how radiation and other lunar conditions would effect items left on the moon. |

Sol doesn't put out much high energy radiation, although the UV will tend to bleach colors away. Micrometeoroids are sparse enough and small enough that even when they do hit, you're likely to see their relative velocities so high that they'll easily pass straight through something like a flag.
