This is great news!
Also, this is not a title that needs to come out every month.
It can be 6 issues a year, every other month and I'd be fine with that.
The quality is what matters the most.

Agree on that. Quality is what will dictate if this comic will follow a long path or not. And Nord being back in black and white will be awesome, to say the least.

The only question is whether the artists will be allowed to show everything that SSoC magazine was famous for.

The first issue of the new Conan series has a topless woman in one panel, so I'm thinking the answer is yes.

All of that is good to hear, seems like Titan is listening, The Wolves of the Tundra sounds promising, I remember an SSOC with Conan fighting a werewolf and a pack of wolves in some wintry clime.

Note that at the recently concluded San Diego Comic Con, Titan announced the resurrection of SSOC in its original b&w magazine format. You can read the announcement here: SSOC announcementThere are lot of heavy hitters on the list of creators: John Arcudi, Frank Tieri, Patch Zircher, Howard Chaykin, Rafael Kayanan, Cary Nord, Rebeca Puebla, Dan Panosian, Richard Pace, Gerardo Zaffino and more. No mention of page count or price, though the initial press release indicates the mag will feature several stories per issue.

Thanks Terry, there's some cool Conan commissions by Richard Pace @comicartfans. If we get anything like this stuff it'll be great:

Joe Jusko was the premier cover artist for the classic SSOC run. How cool would it be to get him back for a few issues of Titan's Savage Sword of Conan.
