that's promising, hope it lives up to expectations, have to look like the 70's to 90's run or it's not SSOC.

It better be black and white, and bloody. If it's just going to be the B title again (how Marvel handled it during the relaunch) it should just stay dormant.

PRESS RELEASE Titan Comics announced today at SDCC they are growing their Conan the Barbarian line with Savage Sword of Conan. Set to debut sometime in 2024. The magazine-sized black-and-white series will feature multiple tales from the world of Conan. Creators lined up to contribute include John Arcudi, Frank Tieri, Patch Zircher, Howard Chaykin, Rafael Kayanan, Cary Nord, Rebeca Puebla, Dan Panosian, Richard Pace, Gerardo Zaffino, and many more! “Ever since we announced the launch of this new comic book line, fans and creators alike have been clamouring for the return of this iconic title – ONLY if it was in its original B&W anthology magazine format,” says editor Matt Murray. “It’s been a really tough secret to keep that we at Heroic Signatures and Titan Comics have actually been planning on that all along, but it can be a tough skull to crack on a few levels. We hope that we can live up to the expectations, as well as the legacy of the classic book, and think that with the writers and artists we already have on board (and those we’re still talking to) we can forge a new and exciting chapter in CONAN’s savage story.” aiptcomics.com/2023/07/23/titan-comics-the-savage-sword-of-conan-2024/

It's on the right track, B&W magazine format aimed at a more mature readership, Conan main feature followed by a smaller back up story starring Valeria, Red Sonja, Belit, Solomon Kane, Bran Mak Morn or Kull would not be too bad, maybe even buy the rights from Marvel to continue the adventures of John Buscema's future barbarian Bront. For that matter REH's planetary adventure hero Esau Cairn. So many options.

maybe even buy the rights from Marvel to continue the adventures of John Buscema's future barbarian Bront. I am a big fan of Bront. I remember as a kid hounding my friend, who was a huge comic book collector, to find me more Bront episodes. He never managed to convince me that there weren't more than the few that were published.

Meanwhile from that link: Those pre-order figures look close to the ones for the new Red Sonja from Dynamite.

Yeah, just the five issues, maybe they can revive the series as a back up. Roberto De La Torre would be perfect for the art.

Good news, let's go!
Having to wait for at least half a year hurts but I'm really excited to see it.

I like that they are taking their time with this! Marvel seemed hurried to throw whatever at the wall and hope it sticks. Granted, Marvel is a bigger company and more capable of getting things out quicker, but they still went about things too quickly, without having a solid plan.
If your fans are not excited about what you are doing, what hope is there?
I am really excited about this. I just really, really, really hope with the more expensive magazine format they do not go overboard with the damned variants. The completest in me is going to want ALL of the SSOC.
