STAR WARS RONIN, the novel set in an alternate continuity influenced heavily by Japanese culture, is the best thing to come out of SW in years, in my opinion.

This sounds like it ties in with the first episode of the anime anthology series. I enjoyed that a great deal, bringing Star Wars, including the Jedi and Sith concepts to feudal Japan.

Everyone likes Leia. But as for two other SW babes.......Padme vs Rey? Who is sexier?

Everyone likes Leia. But as for two other SW babes.......Padme vs Rey? Who is sexier? Neither. Natalie/Padme is prettier (by design) but doesn’t enter the sexy realm for me. Honestly Leia didn’t do much for me either until Jedi, then I had to consider the possibility. But overall, Star Wars just isn’t sexy. That’s one thing Star Trek has over it by a mile!

Imho the original Hildebrandt Star Wars poster was about the sexiest that the original Lucas Star Wars ever got but that's understandable for a youth brand:
Some good ol' Sword and Planet right there.
The EU though is a different story.

I think the alternate version is the sexier one filmartgallery.com/a/s/products/star-wars-9859

I think I ultimately have to agree; Trek is sexier.

There's always 'The Empire Strips Back', that burlesque parody performance that's currently in Chicago, NYC and elsewhere. lol

So, what's the verdict on Ahsoka?
I probably have seen only 5 episodes of Clone Wars and Rebels but I was liking it up until episode 7.
Last night's episode was just missing something. And it's so sad watching the late Ray Stevens, he did a great job here.
There's a strange meta fan theory that his character is from our universe and he's a Star Wars fan. Evidently in his wrist guard's screen he has the names of Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, and Ben in another language. You have to pause quickly and translate it, apparently.

It’s just what Star Wars has needed, a deep dive into the mythology that moves the ball forward. They could still fumble it in the finale, but I think they may have had to hold back a bit in Ep 7 for a solid last episode. It’s now making me want or go back and watch Clone Wars. I’d only seen a few episodes but it really does seem to be the film we missed out on that would’ve been better than the ones we got. It’s also made me reassess Ahsoka. Wasn’t sure why she existed, thought it was a bone to Cartoon Network. But they’ve actually done some interesting things with her.
