The scary thing is The Dungeonmaster is the only one I HADN'T heard of! The Blade Master is better known to MST3K fans as Cave Dwellers. They actually made THREE Deathstalker films, I was just watching the third one via MST this weekend.

Whoever is doing my library ordering needs to get thanked again: we're getting the Blu-Ray of the Lou Ferrigno Hercules. 42 holds already.

I've seen the first Deathstalker movie and it is definitely "so bad it is good". An S&S exploitation film with hilarious bad acting, one liners like "Heroes and fools, are the same thing",cheesy 80's music and lots of gratuitous nudity( God Bless Lana Clarkson). The swordplay is actually well done and the cheap production values gives the movie a schlocky charm.

I would certainly rate Deathstalker as 'so bad, it's good', but the sequels (remember the banquet scene with the pig faced orc creature they kept replaying from the first film ) I would rate as 'so bad, it's shite'. Lana Clarkson, the 80's was a great era for scantily clad warrior/princess/harem/sorceress women. No 'so bad, its good ' S & S B grader was complete without at least one of em in there somewhere.

There is this movie out there called Alien Prey that is a ton of fun. One second you will be laughing and the next you will be grossed out. Very original and a total trip(for me at least) This is on Sci Fi Invasion...one of those Mill Creek collections with fifty flicks. Another favorite was The Creeping Terror which was so incredibly goofy I laughed through the entire thing...just a riot. Overall this is a fun collection although the quality of some of the transfers is disappointing...like one movie where the heads were cut off most of the time. It was one of the better movies too..darn

For me, this will always be at the top for the 'So Bad, It's Good' movies.

Anyone remember this one.... Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone Yup. Library got the Blu Ray of that one too. It's goofy as all get-out, but very entertaining.

I saw this late one night back in the 80's. The kind of movie I like to revisit now and again. Count Yorga Vampire Trailer 1970 There was this scene in the sequel 'The Return of Count Yorga' where Yorga was watching a horror movie that was dubbed in Spanish. I liked how his creep like henchman wanted to deliver some news to the Count, but Yorga made him wait until he was finished watching a pivotal moment in the movie. I always found it anachronistic for some reason, the almost 19th century type vampire lord watching tv, but it still worked.

This has to be one of my favourite all time S&S film. It's pure fantasy so you can throw historical accuracy out the window, and the best part is that it has Jack Palance in it.
Very few movies can rival this one in the 'So Bad, It's Good' category.

Alright, Krull came close to matching Hawk, back at that time I thought Krull was the coolest movie out, still like it.

Peter Strauss on his way down from Rich Man Poor Man, Molly Ringwald between Facts of Life and John Hughes and Ernie Hudson before Ghostbusters.
