boundingintocomics.com/2020/02/26/rumor-marvel-and-kevin-feige-could-take-over-dc-comics/'Cosmic Book News shared the rumor over the weekend detailing AT&T is unhappy with DiDio’s proposed fifth-generation reboot of DC’s continuity, 5G. The company is allegedly considering licensing out the characters for Marvel to publish while maintaining control of the valued intellectual property.' It may never happen, but I'm sure it's not in the realms of legal rights impossibility It'd be ironic if it turns into the inverse of the situation back in the 50s and 60s where DC put out Atlas then Marvel books. Something like this might be ok but it's still pushing the limits. Yeah, some sort of legal wrangles, company liquidations and the resulting problems with finding distributors for the Atlas comics line in the 50's, hence National Periodical Publications ( DC Comics ) to the rescue. DC could always say 'Hey Marvel ol buddy, can you help out an old friend that once got you out of the lurch way back when'. Of course I'm just joking.

That moment when you can no longer tell whether something is true intentional cringe, parody cringe or both.

Well, it's been a whole day so it looks like this is something real...it can't be, can it? There's someone out there who thought coming up with something like this is a good idea...then there's someone above who ok'd it!
According to CBR, social media isn't reacting well to them. Oh? The hell you say! That someone would think there'd be anything other than a bad reaction is the real story.

The virus is going to wreck this already damaged industry.

Yep! They might as well get rid of Spider-Man and the X-Men. Marvel is saved!

What I don't understand (or maybe I do and I am just scared to say it out loud) is that at this point they have to know this stuff is guaranteed to fail and that it is bad for business. I mean, just look at the all the examples of this type of thing failing...but they are pushing it anyway. The only explanation is, the agenda is more important than losing business?
