Need to Frazetta's Death Dealer is so iconic that someone ought to do a movie version. Something along the lines of the 2012 Dredd with Carl Urban but with a pure S+S vibe. Like Dredd much of the character's presence is imbued in the helm. |

I have thought about a Death Dealer movie, inspiration from Frank Frazetta's art, also from the pages of Glen Danzig's four part comic series with the Frazetta covers.   It would have to be a million miles away from anything resembling Tolkien, agree about influences from the Judge Dredd movie with Carl Urban, something also partly in line with Milius CtB, and for some reason I'm thinking of Medieval inspiration from central European German, Slavic and eastern Turkish Ottoman cultures, but with a dark fantasy feel to it. |

Especially with the curved handle design of the axe. The sword has some resemblance to a Turkish Yataghan saber, hence my reference to the Ottoman Turks.  |

It's probably going to be cheesy but The Bradford Exchange is doing a Frazetta series starting with the Death Dealer.
