I just saw this and totally had to post it. I bought one of these at the Labette County Fair when I was 11. I had to choose between it and "Moon Maid". No way would that fly with my mom; plus, I just dig "Silver Warrior" more. I made my mom iron it onto a sky-blue tee and I wore that thing to shreds.

Greater Creators is a video series hosted by Youtube personality Comic Book Girl 19. It is available on go90, but they made a sample episode available on Youtube and it is on Frank Frazetta. It is very much a modern pop culture piece in tone and presentation, but it's not a bad intro to Frank for someone who has not previously encountered his work (which would be a large chunk of of those who follow Comic Book Girl 19 on youtube.

Here's the ep for those who might want to check it out. Again, it's sensibilities appeal to a younger demographic than most long term Frazetta/Conan fans are from, and it has a few annoying elements for me, but it's not a bad vehicle for bringing Frazetta to the attention of a new generation of potential fans.

I've always felt that Adams' Tarzan was far superior to the work of Boris. Boris had perfect details and colors and texture, but his Tarzan (and Conan, for that matter) were simply reproductions of bodybuilders in a static pose. No sense of kinetic energy, power or savage drama. Life like but lifeless...
