Preview page from Christophie Bec & Stevan Subic's Xuthal of the Dusk, due out sometime next year: Amazing art. It is good to know at least Glenát is giving Conan a proper treatment.

Cover design (I think) for Rogues in the House (Paulo Martinello): and an interior page (b&w and colour):

I was about to say Sonja really let herself go.
I love that art. Hoping that Ablaze brings all of these to the US.

That blows away what Marvel has been giving us. I really like it.

That level of artwork is rarely seen in comic books in general. Glad to descry such a lovely treatment for my favorite Conan tale. It will only make the wait that much more arduous though.

Yeah, it looks great. Hope it's not a 60 page adaptation like most of the Glénat adaptations. This should be at least 4 volumes in order for the adaptation of the yarn to really work.

That's a concern of mine as well. There's no suggestion of multiple volumes that I've seen, but hopefully it is given appropriate length.

To date, the the only 50/60 paged adaptation with satisfactory results, as far as I'm concerned, has been the Frost-Giant's Daughter adaptation. Robin Recht expanded on the original yarn with exceptional skill, developing realistic and convincing motives for both Conan and Atali. Robin Recht's adaptation is easily the best, far superior to the Thomas/Smith and Busiek/Nord adaptations of Frost-Giant's Daughter. I gotta admit it is not exactly faithful, nevertheless, it is truly a fantastic work of art.
