It's the way it should have gone, not with cards in hand, but with bloodied blade in hand. Look forward to the next issue.

The interior art of this arc is good when compared with the art of Marvels other new releases. Sure it's not as good as the old mags or even the Dark Horse King Conan adaptations, but what is in the current industry of american comic books!?

Not a bad 3 issues. Art a little too scratchy for my taste, but a pretty good story. Overall, not bad ... finally!

It was ok, reminded me of RotJ, when Luke fell through the trapdoor into the rancor pit and everyone in Jabba's chamber clambered to see the spectacle.

overall, I like this arc. Zim Zub has a good handle on Conan.

Having just read the Conan the Gambler story arc in SSOC v2 #7-9, set in Shadizar, I wondered what other stories published by Marvel are set during Conan's time in this city?

When would we place this story in the timeline?

When would we place this story in the timeline? Well he's got the BWS necklace, but no helmet. So if you're going to use that as a baseline, I'd say sometime between CTB #8-10. Would have to give it a closer read to possibly concentrate on where.

Maybe it was a warm night in Shadizar and he took the helmet off, or maybe his helmet was severely dented and had to go to the shop (blacksmith) for repair (lol). It's easier than any explanation trying to make him go back and forth from Nemedia. Keep things simple.

I'm wondering if it's between CTB #6 and #7, and Conan decided to go back to Shadizar for a while before heading off to Nemedia.
