Malberg was just asked on Twitter "You guys still planning live action stuff?"
Answer "More than planning."
Though at the end of the day "planning" doesn't mean much , as even if something gets made it may not get shown these days!

That's the real killer, you can have something totally complete and yet it never gets shown...and the companies are happy to do it that way! Very strange times...

Well…whatever works. I’m used to waiting between this and the Hendrix box set that has been delayed almost a year now, so what’s another few months…onto June…

Netflix scaled their animation department way down so I think live action would be more likely. Unless they're working with an outside company.

Netflix has scaled EVERYTHING way down. Hard to get too excited with them these days. A show can get yanked at any time, from the writing stage to the second before it drops. Even then you may get a season out of it and then poof, it’s gone

I just can't believe Netflix would greenlight this given the current state of that company and the track record of the property. And let's face it, the new Red Sonja movie isn't going to do Conan any favors.

At this stage our best hope is to sell Conan as the first prequel to Yellowstone :-)))

It's become a bit of a self fulfilling prophesy for them. They cancel shows without finishing them so people don't want to start new shows which causes them to get cancelled before they can be finished. It's all on them.
Some shows you can't blame them though. viewership drops and I understand why they cancel them. Take the show cowboy bebop which had 70 million views during its first week. That is a huge number yet they still cancelled the show, well it turns out that the show had a 70% drop between people watching the first episode and the second.

Didn't Amazon have pilots many years ago? I think Bosch was one of them.... It made it to a full series order based on the feedback. Other pilots didn't.
Maybe Netflix should start a similar model. Spending eight figures on these series and there being no appetite for them is a horrible business practice.
Not every concept should get a full series order right out of the gate.
