Just Wow! I have no words to express how fascinating this is. Did they do that for any other artists, like Ernie or Gary Kwapisz? because I'd love to see that.

Very cool.
The digital portraits make Buscema's Conan kinda look like Henry Cavill!

I ran the text through google translate, interesting approach
"WHAT IF ... THE CONAN DESIGNED BY JOHN BUSCEMA WAS REAL? With this question in mind, the Conan Forum decided to stop imagining and went after a way to try this. After all, it is one of the most celebrated representations of comics, iconic, and served as a reference for generations of comic artists when designing Conan. Inspired by a digital artist called GANBROOD, who regularly posts realistic faces on his instagram based on paintings, busts and statues of ancient personalities, we decided to use the same technique as he did: from drawings by John Buscema's Conan comics (and artifinalized by several artists), a software that uses an Artificial Intelligence (AI) technique of neural networks was used that provides information on ethnicity, age, hair color, skin tone, among many other variables, crosses this data with the provided image and generates a completely new image, which is then thoroughly adjusted, as the result varies widely. When we arrive at a face close to the acceptable (and in this case the similarity is relative), the use of photoshop is essential to give the touches that make the “portrait” recognizable, such as adjustments in the shape of the hair, scars, eye color, among others settings. The result is this that you can check here.
Of course, this is not a faithful portrait, but versions, in this case 3, based on specific characteristics distinct from variant versions of Buscema's comics. For sure, there could be hundreds of other versions! These are those of the Forum. Tell us what you think in the comments!"

Very cool. The digital portraits make Buscema's Conan kinda look like Henry Cavill! I thought that too, especially the eyes.

More photorealistic work based on Big John's art. My only quibble would be to beef up the hands and wrists a bit, look at Buscema's original and Conan's hands are massive, definitely shows he's been swinging heavy implements around his whole life. http://instagr.am/p/CLPete7Bazj
