Preliminary pencils by John Buscema for splash page (SSOC 3) and an inked Conan drawing on the reverse side. ...and the page adorned with Pablo Marcos' inkwork.

So I have a background in pro wrestling...as far as I know, the term "shoot interview" originated in wrestling. Meaning, when wrestlers would break character and talk openly about the business side, much like when a fight happens in wrestling or when a wrestler takes advantage of another wrestler- it's a "shoot" or a "shoot fight." It's funny because I am seeing the term in more places now that have nothing to do with wrestling, breaking character and the like. I mean, what makes this a "shoot" interview?
