If I am recalling correctly, Zub stated on Twitter that he really enjoyed working on Conan and would like to continue, but it is out of his hands.

What a great issue. Jim Zub's gotta stay on the book.

Great end to the story ar and eave the door open to both the #300 and futurea adventure, but I found it funny that all this new Marvel series is still before meeting with Belit.
Quick survey
Do you like Belit with normal skin color or with pale white skin as in some Dark Horse series '?

Maybe not quite so unhealthily pale, but still rather pale nevertheless.

A couple of reviews: Conan the Barbarian #24: Lust and Indulgence That Can Only Be Billed by Days of High Adventure By Rik Mertens
Recap Last issue, Conan stopped a coup, broke free of a dark power and left Khitai a little wiser for all his troubles. Read Comic Watch's full review of Conan the Barbarian #23.
Review Zub and Smith found a way to create a prequel of the classic Conan story, Queen of the Black Coast, that ties seamlessly with the original Robert E. Howard story. You don’t need to know the classic to enjoy this issue. Many know Conan for his land-based adventures, but he has a long history on the seas as a pirate. Conan the Barbarian #24 shows us the younger Conan learning that the sea should never be underestimated.
B-story Something is coming for Conan. It’s marked the Cimmerian, and he may be powerless to stop it.
The Words Jim Zub is writing tales in the spirit of Robert E. Howard. I really like the narrator aspect of Conan the Barbarian #24. While Cory Smith’s artwork shows us the perils of sailing the ocean, the narrator word balloons elevate the story giving it an epic-ness. Every character’s dialogue is pitch-perfect with the mandatory number of “By Crom’s” throughout.
The Art There are a lot of great panels in Conan the Barbarian #24. Among them are the ship fighting against the ocean and the storm. The waves keep getting bigger threatening to capsize the vessel. Israel Silva’s colors add the mood. As the Crow (Conan’s ship) gets deeper and deeper into the storm, the colors become more blue and green. The water’s colors consume Conan’s world. The moment the storm breaks, Silva’s color palette returns to normal. I want the Belit full-page as a poster. Behold the Queen of the Black Coast!
Themes This month we’re playing with man versus nature and one’s ability to deny destiny. There have been many good stories and movies about a man fighting against the ocean. The water and storms can mix to create a nightmare scenario for any hero. Some will die. Others like Conan will pit his warrior’s spirit against nature every time.
Naogu gives Conan a difficult time for bringing trouble wherever he walks. Conan #24 takes this a step further and presents us with the gods messing with Conan and setting him up for something bigger.
World Building Fans of the original Conan the Barbarian movie will appreciate Naogu. He reminds me of the narrator of that movie: his look, how he acts, and the way his magic works. It’s a nice connection. Fans of the novels will like the Easter egg reference to Gods of the North.
Who’s in this Issue Captain Hu Conan Naogu (navigator, sorcerer) Belit Favorite Quote “No word or spell can stop it. No defense against destiny’s call.” Naogu to Conan
Who will like It? If you are a fan of Belit, you must buy this issue. I do my best to avoid spoilers and was pleasantly surprised with the full-page introduction to the Queen of the Black Coast.
On the Cover The primary cover by Geoff Shaw is a good one featuring Conan battling the storm.
We have additional cover by Roberto De La Torre and Frank D’armata. I’m not sure what it has to do with our story, but it looks great.
The Big Question Something or someone is playing with Conan’s fate. Who or what is it?
I Need More If you are unfamiliar with Belit, there are a few sources to review.
Librivox’s recording of Queen of the Black Coast Marvel’s 2019 Age of Conan: Belit series
Final Thoughts For a bridging, fill-in issue, this one is really good. You have to buy it just to prepare for Conan the Barbarian #25 (Marvel's Conan #300 and an extra-special anniversary issue).

Jim Zub’s plot manages to be compelling even at its choppiest moments, and a handful of lines in the script are almost awe-inspiring. The art from Cory Smith and Roberto Poggi largely rises to the spectacle at hand, but does get a little muddy at certain parts. All in all, this proves to be a good Conan story—and with the 300th issue right around the corner, we're hopefully right on the cusp of a great one. -- Jenna Anderson

Marvel taking the wrong lessons from Savage Sword, I'm afraid.

Marvel taking the wrong lessons from Savage Sword, I'm afraid. From their starting Conan related proyects the only one that survives is " Conan" because the New Savage Sword was cancelled after 12 issues and the " Age of Conan" was cancelled after 2 mini series (10 issues I think) so unfortunately, yes, they are taking the wrong ones and its a shame I was waiting for an Age of Conan: Zenobia

This is sad we finally get an author that has managed to establish a consistent rendition of Conan. From what I can ascertain, readers actually look forward to the next issue.
What're Marvel gonna do if sales under Aaron end up even lower than 16,000 this time next year?

If sales continue to fall, maybe Marvel should consider leaving Conan in the 21st century with an uncertain future where he does not return to the Hyborian Age and become King of Aquilonia. Maybe a possible option for the character instead of retreading the same old stuff following his career from thief to King - most of the yarns have been adapted in comics for 50 years now.

The real shame is loosing Jim Zub as the main writter BUT there are some hopes in a King Conan continuation, I really liked "Conan and the Midnight God" so maybe if Jason Aaron continues his new plot with only King Conan could make some cool variety, my wife make me notice something I both Marvel and Ablaze are sellign almost similar numbers that means that Marvel cant adapt the original stories because Ableze is already publishing them and also, if by X or Y reason, they adapations are badly received that could be a critical hit to their Conan.

Picking up from previous comments
Marvel really screwed up with the awful Belit/Valeria series , and the numbers fell through the floor so doubt we'll see any more.
Yes it's a shame that Jim's run is low as I agree it seems that those reading are enjoying his work.
If Aaron's run doesn't do well I think we'll just end up with Conan in Savage Avengers , at least until Marvel re-jig the Avengers family of titles.
Nothing is stopping Marvel doing the adaptations again if they wanted as the stories Ablaze are publishing are PD , and they had to come to an agreement with Cabinet as Marvel are the "official" licence holder at present.

Having Savage Avengers being the only Conan title would be a disappointment. Not that it's bad, it's actually one of the few ongoing comics I avidly look forward to but Conan in the 21st century might as well be any other character. Conan not in the Hyborian age is not exactly Conan.
Also the conan Mini-series at Marvel were for the most part pretty bad. I couldn't read through Age of Conan: Belit or Valeria and Battle for the Serpent Crown was a terribly thrown together plot with shoehorned superheroes to boost appeal. The Savage Sword title in my opinion was great and I didn't hate Jason Aaron's run either. He's a good writer but ctb seemed more like a Thor comic than a Conan one.
That being said I'd really appreciate it if Jim stayed on the title a bit longer because not only is the writing great, he also avidly participates in the Conan community and communicates with readers through here, reddit, twitter etc.
I imagine the sale of the Glenat adaptation translations would have been way higher if it was done by Marvel and was allowed to have "Conan" in the title as opposed to "The Cimmerian".
