I just found about the Opera a couple of days ago, it looks really interesting, did you know if they plan to stream it?? Unfortunately, looks like they've already streamed 2 performances last weekend:

Perhaps we should tell Fredrik he missed out the word HELL!

Soon enough the title of this thread will simply be 'Conan TV Series in HELL'.

In the next pastiche Conan will not swear "By Erlik's Hell" but "by Netflix's hell" :-)

Soon enough the title of this thread will simply be 'Conan TV Series in HELL'. What you call Hell, Fred Malmberg calls home...for all of his projects in development.

Malmber begins to resemble a child who naively hopes for a truth in adult lies, which he himself begins to doubt, but his desire still drives him to hope. One thing must be admitted to him - the desire is there. Lack of will, vision and skill is what leaves every "project" he's come up with, to be just a child's dream.

I totally understand the frustration of the people here, but you have to understand something: It's not Malmberg the one who greenlights the projects, but the people with the actual money. I can't understand why it's impossible to get off the ground ANYTHING faithful to Howard, considering that he has been a huge influence for several generations of filmmakers. Maybe it's just dumb luck?
I still watn to be hopeful about the Netflix TV show. We will see what happens after Howard Days.

At Howard Days, Fredrik Malmberg announced that they have everything in place and are just waiting on Netflix to make its final decision on greenlighting the series. He said he expects a decision from them within 6 months. As to the Solomon Kane series, he said they have thrown all their power behind getting the Conan series done, and hopefully, with that being a success, Kane and other Howard characters will be easier to get done.
