If Netflix creates a membership with adds they should not charge at all, Crunchyroll has been doing for a long time. Crunchyroll did have this but they pulled it after the Sony Funimation merger. Now they just have a pay model with a few exceptions. A huge mistake on their part, now everyone who watched the ad stream just pirates it.

I believe their old stuff is still available to watch with ads, its just the new shows that are pay only going forward.

Anyone else see the atlantean sword in the last episode of “Stranger Things”? I'll be looking out for it tonight. I've seen the pic. Fredrik posted on his Twitter page.

Aye... Kinda hope that is a tease for the show. You know, remind them of character, and then follow to see the reaction of a crowd. And, its all over the internet already

They're supposed to be making a miniseries out of King & Straub's The Talisman next, so maybe not.

I'd rather see them continue making their own original intellectual property but I wouldn't mind if they handled Conan.
But after watching Bastard!! on Netflix... I'd love to see a Conan anime even more now. Or even a western studio produced series. The Boys had a great animated short within the latest episode that was great.

I know the long history of trying to adapt "The Talisman", am just being positive. And about an animated series or movie, the team who made "The Witcher Nightmare of the Wolf" are my favorite option.

Hopefully that's what he's cryptically referring to.

That's the way I read it too. It definitely would bug me the people I had work on a project that didn't get off the ground end up on one of the highest profile shows of the past couple of years. Like I said earlier, they really fell upward.
