Fredrik Malmberg has confirmed that foreign language editions will still be done by Panini okay, now am sure that they got into an agreement, good to know as buying different editions from different providers is a mess.

Details have been revealed of a special Conan The Barbarian 90th anniversary panel at San Diego Comic-Con on July 21. Running for an hour from 12.30pm, in Room 24ABC, the panel will feature Matt Murray, editor at Conan rights holders, Heroic Signatures; Steve Saffel, editor at Titan Books, the forthcoming publishers of Conan comics; and Jim Zub, writer of Conan for Marvel and Dungeons and Dragons comics for IDW. Along with other panellists, they will discuss Conan's lasting impact on the pop culture landscape and offer insights into what's yet to come for the barbarian, such as the exciting Netflix project in development, the new era in comics, and upcoming novel Conan: Blood of the Serpent by bestselling author SM Stirling. Later on that day, at 5.30pm in Room 6A, the 40th anniversary of the genre-defining movie Conan The Barbarian, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, will be marked with a presentation from author Paul M Sammon (Conan the Phenomenon) and illustrator William Stout, production artist on the film. They will be sharing art from the 1982 movie along with their on-set experiences with star Arnie, director John Milius, and production designer Ron Cobb. heropresstwo.blogspot.com/2022/07/the-future-of-conan-to-be-spelled-out.html?spref=fb&fbclid=IwAR2H_8qL3AjG8SS_m6adJ2208u2Uhleb_LxaOT8nm5DKqy5vXMCteByVbdQ

They were the last couple of years when there weren't crowds , I imagine we'll get some text reports this year. Paul's will probably be similar to his Howard Days presentation if you've seen that one.

Thanks for the updates Hun.
My 2c:
This one will be a B/W title modelled on Savage Sword if I read the Howard Days hints aright.
Roberto de la Torre is a great (dare I say ideal?) choice for artist. His Buscemaesque style with those occasional Krenkelesque flourishes is awesome. Hope he'll be inking his own work for stylistic reasons but don't know how practical that is time wise.
Jim Zub is one of the better choices for writer. He's a hard working versatile talented guy who was more in touch with the core essence of the material than JA imho. Appreciated his checking in here during his run at Marvel and hope he'll drop by again if he gets time.
Sure hope the 2024 date was a typo as I'm keen to see how this goes sooner rather than later. I know that monthlies are having a hard time in the market right now but with a talented team like this and Titan's distribution contacts they ought to be able to win a good readership for this beyond just the core fanbase.

Roberto De La Torre is perfect choice for Conan. His style is mix of Buscema and de Zuniga.

Excited to see these news! May 2023 was announced earlier and seeing Jim Zub to return is good news, could have gone in horrible directions! The Conan we could see in King Size Conan by De La Torre looks promising as well.
