Holy shit...Ablaze, how about fast tracking this over here? Is Ablaze adapting these in any sort of order, like the order that Glenat published them or anything? They seem to be picking and choosing. Red Nails was one of the later ones, but released by Ablaze second.

Nope, it appears to be random at the surface level. They might have picked Queen of the Black Coast and Red Nails to go first due to Belit and Valeria having their own Marvel minis. Something tells me they chose People of the Black Circle due to the Eastern art. Maybe they are front-ending what they believe are the most commercially viable.

Perhaps this is overthinking it, but seeing as Dark Horse royally screwed up Black Coast, and never adapted Red Nails, that could be reason for them to go that route. For the latter they get the jump on Marvel, who unless i'm mistaken, haven't made any announcement to adapt Howard untouched by Dark Horse...

Thanks for the info on the translation order (whatever cryptic order it is). I wish I knew French! Lol

Had some of my custom made hardcover translations arrive. They look pretty cool. the photo quality is kinda bad due to size limitations. Nice. Did you translate the adaptations? Excellent.

Yes I translated the adaptations myself and enhanced the images individually. A lot of work and it cost about 50-70 US dollars per book. On the plus side it looks gorgeous and I'm currently working on both Frost Giant's daughter and Man-eaters of Zamboula.

These albums really do shine when read in the larger format. Very nice.

Yes they're great but the pictures posted here had limitations on size so I had to downgrade the quality of the picture I took of them significantly. I was gonna translate the Frost Giant's daughter myself next but I guess I'll hold off on that now.

That is a lot of effort and commitment to see that through, well done. I can understand holding off on the Frost Giant's daughter for now with Ablaze releasing it in December.
I re-read my Glenat volume of The Frost Giant's Daughter the other night (or should I say, re-looked at the artwork), and I really look forward to reading it in December. The artwork is very powerful and I hope it transfers to the Ablaze adaptions smaller specifications well enough.
I take my hat off to you with your efforts regards your adaptions DanielJ, they look very good.

I think this may have been pushed back January 2021 now.
