Boris cover for me!
I doubt I'll get this though. I have all the issues.
I haven't been paying attention. are they reprinting the entire SSoC issues, complete with back up stories, pin ups, letters page etc.?

Not only should they be reprinting most of that material (maybe a few not included due to rights issues), but looking at the names on the solicit, we may be getting some of the other stories in the ST issues. Gray Morrow did the first Man Thing story but nothing for Conan, yet his name is there. It also grew around 100 pages from the original posting, it's now close to 1100 pages.

I'm a little concerned about the possible addition of Fury of the Femizons by Lee and Romita, Man Thing by Conway and Gary Morrow and Black Brother by Sergius O'Shaugnessy and Gene Conan - they're not Conan or REH related. I can understand that Marvel do not have the rights to all the REH characters, but do they really need to include the non Conan/REH material from Savage Tales?

I think they're looking at it as a complete collection of all issues involved, even those. My preference would have been for just the Conan and other REH material from ST (and Kull & the Barbarians for that matter) be included here and the entire 11 issue run of ST be collected as its own package. Oh well, to have these problems!

there were some other non-Conan things in later issues too, like Bront. I wonder if those will be included.

Hopefully, Marvel will publish the Red Nails adaptation in a deluxe hardback edition. I'm not really keen on the rest of the Savage Tales stuff - or I could hunt down all Conan Marvel Treasury editions

I need to dig those issues out and revisit Bront. I remember there was a character name Phork.

I'm gonna find them right now and admire the artwork.

He's there in at least SSOC #8 with part 4.5 of Hour of the Dragon. Thing is a part of Blackmark ended up over in Kull & the Barbarians so for those who want to see it, they're missing part of the story.
