This is the only book I am looking foward to. The rest has not impressed me in any way. This cover is great and it feels like Savage Sword.

Like we mentioned, they’re able to reprint anything they own (Man Thing, Ka-Zar), but any other Howard character or other characters they don’t have license to (in this volume Blackmark) won’t be included. I don’t know the situation with Bront or Chane, I guess we’ll find out when we get there.

Oh well that is a shame.
Fingers crossed that they pull their fingers out and are able to get some of the other licensing rights.
I realise that the licenses may not be worth it just for these omnibuses alone, but they (marvel) could also do new mini-series with Kull and Soloman Kane. I would love to see a Bran Mak Morn mini-series.
I really hope they have the rights to Bront as well. The future Savage Sword omnibuses would be invaluable to me (and to all of us of course) if they were able to incorporate many of the original back story's. Here's Hoping.

I seem to have a vague recollection that Bront was a John Buscema creation, although I might have something else in mind entirely. ...... Bront was Buscema, Chane was Gil Kane

Even though I own the DH omnibuses (which are printed on newsprint), I'm thinking of buying this. I just hate to buy it twice. I am waiting to hear about the quality and the reviews.
Will there be anything in these that is not in the DH omnibuses?

Better quality print, I would assume, than the newspaper that the DH omnibuses own. But, the DH stuff has the advantage that I already own all of them--and that's a sizable investment right there. I don't know if I can bring myself to plop down the C-Note for this baby.

Well...I put in the pre-orders at Amazon for Vols 1 and 2....here's hoping I enjoy them. I have some of the paperback newsprint collections but didn't keep up and get them all.

Is there a way to order the variant cover (with the original artwork) from Amazon?
