Announced today at the London Comic Con along with the Dark Agnes series (Dark Agnes thread can be found in Howard's Other Literary Creations). CONAN: BATTLE FOR THE SERPENT CROWN #1 (OF 5)Written by SALADIN AHMED Penciled by LUKE ROSS Cover by GURU-eFX (looks like a Luke Ross cover to me) A DEADLY QUEST AND A DARING HEIST…IN THE AGE OF MARVELS! CONAN wanders the desert, and as he reaches the city, no Stygian temple nor Vendyhan fortress greets him. No, something far stranger: the lights of Fabulous Las Vegas! Conan is far from home, and it’s time for him to tread the thrones of the Marvel Universe under his sandaled feet!
The City of Sin is just the beginning for Conan’s solo jaunt by Saladin Ahmed (BLACK BOLT, MILES MORALES: SPIDER-MAN) and Luke Ross (STAR WARS: ALLEGIANCE, SAVAGE SWORD OF CONAN), as the barbarian finds himself on a quest for a relic that predates even his Hyborian Age: the Serpent Crown of Atlantis! But will his battle for this crown earn Conan his own kingdom, or doom him to a nefarious trap set forth by MEPHISTO? Featuring a wide array of Marvel heroes and villains, this is an adventure you can’t afford to miss!Link: www.bleedingcool.com/2019/10/25/marvel-announces-dark-agnes-by-becky-cloonan-and-luca-pizzari-and-conan-battle-for-the-serpent-crown-at-mcm-london/

Will the other series(es) be taking a break? Will have to wait and see. But this will further entrench Conan into the MU.

Will the other series(es) be taking a break? Will have to wait and see. But this will further entrench Conan into the MU. If Conan dies in CtB that'll still leave us with 2 Conans running around in the current Marvel Universe. According to Mark Basso the Serpent War takes place right after the "God in the Bowl", I guess the Battle for the Serpent Crown will be some kinda sequel within the same continuity. Conan found in the Savage Avengers is a little bit older. Marvel may decide to run with the young Conan in the modern Marvel universe with a very uncertain future. Loads of potential for new yarns there. Crom! This is confusing

Thanks Johnnypt.
Over the last couple of months the Cimmerian seems to have developed a bit of a gambling problem.

Seems goofy. On the other hands Conan in Vegas IS kinda a fun idea. Vegas IS the city of Sin after all.

As long as Savage Avengers is consistently the best selling Conan book, we're going to get more of him in the modern Marvel Universe.

I think he's got a couple of Fantasy novels under his belt. Anyone read his fantasy stuff? I read part of a Quicksilver series he wrote for Marvel. I couldn’t finish it. I think he got paid by the word because it was panel after panel of overwritten first person narration. It was a chore to read.
