Who is Bront and why is he/it significant.
I will be going with the tentacle cover....and does this mark the official end of Thomas as the writer?

Bront is a kick ass character devised by Big John Buscema (scripted by J.M. DeMatteis) There where only a few installments, but it was real cool. www.marvunapp.com/Appendix6/bront_backworld.htmI recently pulled and read the original Bront appearances, but I might pick this up anyway.

Roy’s done after this until issue #190, with the exception of the Valeria version of Isle of Pirates Doom, which Cory said is in next volume, the 2nd part of Wolves Beyond the Border in #76 (which should also be I the next volume) and the scattershot adaptation of Men of the Shadows in the early 100s. I wonder if Cory will include the Almuric adaptation in the chronological correct volume (I know it wasn’t in SSOC but he likes including surprises.)

I don't remember why I enjoyed the Bront stories so much, perhaps because he was just another rendition of Conan, but I do remember always wanting to read more. It is a shame we never saw him in his own limited coloured series.
I'm looking forward to reading these stories again.

Based on the artists listed in the official solicit it doesn't look like the Lost Race is going to be included. I guess Cory is making an exception for Isle of Pirates Doom since it has Valeria. He's stated that's why this volume is smaller than average, he's making sure all parts of that story can appear in one volume.

The Lost Race could get collected in another volume devoted to REH adaptations not found in the Conan, Kull and Solomon Kane omnibus editions. Collecting stuff like Worms of the Earth, Almuric, Black Stone, Men of the Shadows and horror stories from color comics.
