With the next volume of CTB, we should get some resolution to the Giant Size Conan question. GSC #1 came out in September 1974, around the same time as CTB #42 which should be in the next volume and GSC #4 came out around the same time as #51 which is where I speculate the next volume should end. Adding the 4 GSC issues would add about 100 pages, but I was figuring 600-650 per volume and it looks like they'll be pushing 700-750. I'd prefer they put them in a King Conan volume, but it's out of our hands now. I'm sure Cory and Co. have their maps all laid out.

I like that you included SSOC 1 (Curse of the Undead-Man, 'Mistress of Death' adaptation) in your 2nd CtB omnibus. 

Maybe they can colour the double-page spread From SSOC 1 (in Omnibus Volume 2)

I'd like to see the Marvel treasury edition of Red Nails in a deluxe hardbound edition - it kinda feels out of place in a CtB Omnibus.

Yep, that was exactly what I had in mind for SSOC #1. There’s so much that can be done outside of the three (likely) main lines. You can include a color RN in CTB, the B&W with SSOC and still do a stand alone edition if the market calls for it.

Yes, I'm always wary of the colouring on reprinted comics, but this one looks impressive. However, I'm very surprised to see that expanse of blue in the upper left corner where the white square box containing the issue number, month, price and character name has been removed. It makes the cover seem unbalanced slightly, and surely its presence is important if they are trying to be faithful to the original issues.

Yeah I agree, I have to admit I kinda expected better from John Cassaday.

I just gotta make sure I pick up the Barry Windsor-Smith cover for the Omnibus.

Agreed!  Not a fan of this cover at all.

The image is 10.9 mb, which is pretty massive for a picture file.  It took a good minute or so to fully load with my high-speed connection.
